-Why choose Cait Sith and Nanaki?
Cait Sith and Nanaki have always been my favourites from Final Fantasy 7. Thier appearances were different, and they had cool personalities. They were strong fighters, and had cool limit breaks. They seem to be really "underappreciated" characters in FF7, with only small roles in Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children. This was apparently due to how much money it would take to animate their fur. But hey, they have bigger roles in Fanfiction!

-Information about them:
Information about them is hard to get, so i'll write my own Biographies of them:
CAIT SITH
The robotic Feline who was always seen riding upon a stuffed Moogle, which he brought to life himself. He is actaully controlled my Reeve Tuesti, who is head of the Shin-Ra urban department. Most of what Cait Sith says, is actually what Reeve is saying. Cloud first encounters Cait Sith, while wandering through the Gold Saucer. Upon meeting him, Cait Sith offers to read Cloud's fortune. After unsuceeding to predict it, Cait Sith joins the team, despite Cloud's efforts to stop him. Cait Sith's weapon is a Megaphone, with his final Weapon being called, "Marvelous Cheer". He only has two Limit break, one being called, "Dice" and the other being called "Slots".
Cait Sith's role inm Advent Children is quite small, with him first appearing to fight Bahamut SIN, riding on the back of Nanaki. He only has a few lines to say in the whole film.
In Dirge of Cerberus, he has a slightly larger role, and players even have the option of controling him for one mission! Whe Cait Sith is seen with Reeve, he seems to mimic his movements.
In Crisis Core, he is apparently a summon, but since i do not own the game, anybody who does know anything about him, i would be very gratefull if you could help me here. I do not think he playes any other role in the game.

NANAKI (REDXIII)
A fiery Red wolf like Creature, who is the last of his race. He is captured by the Shin-Ra, and was going to be mated with Aerith, in order to preserve both their species. During this time, he is given the name, RedXIII by Hojo. He even placed a number, "XIII" tattoo on his left hand shoulder. When Cloud and the gang free him, he travels with them, until he reaches his hometown, Cosmo Canyon, where he lives with his Grandfather Bugenhagen (Which doesn't make much sense, since Bugenhagen is Human....). Nanaki tells, the team about his 'cowardly' father, who fled during the Gi attack. Upon exploring the Gi Cave however, he realised that his father was not a coward, and died a hero. Bugenhagen urged Nanaki to travel with Cloud and team. Nanaki's limit breaks are: Sled Fang, Lunatic high, Blood fang, Stardust ray, Howling moon, Earth rave, and Cosmo Memeory. His weapon is a Hairpin, the last being called "Limited Moon".
Nanaki's role in Advent Children is extremely small, with him only saying one line! Even so, he is animated very beautifully.
Nanaki's role in Dirge of Cerberus is extremely small too, with him only appearing at the very end, sitting next to Shelke.
Apparently, he is not mentioned, or shown in Crisis Core.

-"I am Nanaki, son of Seto... I am afraid of nothing... it's all right, all right. I'm Nanaki, the son of brave Seto... I'm not afraid of Sephiroth..."

-"Shinra only cares if things are good right now. But, I plan to live for 500 years and won't stand for that type of thinking."
(Which is quite ironic really, as he does live to 500 years old!)
